‘Crespo’ Kamara scores first league goal in seventeen months

Crespo Kamara scores for Örebro

Sierra Leonean international Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara has netted his first Swedish top tier league goal in 17 months as he helped Örebro to a 3-1 away victory over Helsingborg on Thursday.

The 23-year old striker missed the enntire 2015 Allsvenskan season due to injury.

Kamara played for full time and got his side’s third goal when he converted a penalty spot kick four minutes into stoppage time in the second half.

It was Örebro’s first victory of the campaign after losing their opening fixture to Djurgården in the 2016 Swedish top flight league last Sunday.

Kamara who netted 14 goals in the 2014 Allsvenska before he was injured resumed full traininng with Örebro earlier in the year and scored a goal in a Swedish cup game also against Helsingborg last month.

The former AIK Stockholm and Boden BK striker is hoping to continue to do what’s known for best, which is scoring goals.
