Kaikai scores his sixth goal

In form Sierra Leonean forward Sullay Kaikai has netted six goals in a row in Shrewsbury Town’s 5-1 home defeat to Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

He got the opening goal of the match in the 28th minute but was substituted In the 82nd minute as they went on to concede five goals to lose the English League One fixture.

Shrewsbury Town are in 18th position in the League One standings, three places above relegation zone.

Kaikai’s goal was also his sixth goal in five appearances since rejoining Shrewsbury Town on loan from Premier League side Crystal Palace on the last day of February.

The 20-year old, who was part of Palace’s squad against Swansea City in the Premier League early February is yet to play for Sierra Leone.

He also qualifies to play for England as he was born in London.

Kaikai won the 2014 Sierra Leone Football.com young player of the year and he is one of five nominees for the same category of award for 2015.

The winner of the award will be announced in a ceremony in London on May 21.
