Musa Tombo Set To Be Dropped From Leone Stars For Misconduct

With just over a week to go until the Leone Stars begin their AFCON 2021 qualifying campaign against Lesotho in Freetown, serial controversy subject, Musa Tombo, has created another headache. This time around, for the Leone Stars.

According to reports from a reliable source, the East End Lions striker apparently lied to the Leone Stars coaching staff that he would not travel to Kono with the National Home-based team because he had a burial to attend to, only for him to resurface at a mini league at the Approved School in Kissy. Musa was seen playing for a team called City Road Community.

The Leones Stars home based team are scheduled to play a warm-up match against Diamond Stars over the weekend in Kono. But Musa had other plans by coming up with that fake burial excuse that he lost an uncle. It’s reported that Musa will now face suspension from the Leone Stars.

This’s the same Musa who made a video that he was abandoning his contract in Sweden to qualify Sierra Leone for the World Cup. Now he has abandoned Sierra Leone for a non-division team.

Musa is known for his love of community football. He has refused to grow as a professional. He seems to prefer dusty pitches to green surfaces in Europe. Even his club team, End End Lions, have always had problems with him for that. I’m actually beginning to think that something is seriously wrong with this boy.
