Sierra Leonean youngster Mustapha Bundu has gone on loan to Danish top flight league side AGF for the rest of the season with an option to extend his contract after he succesfully underwent a week’s long trial.

The 19-year old offensive midfielder, who is a product of Craig Bellamy Foundation (CBF) is currently in Freetown and will travel to Aarhus in Denmark to join AGF when he secures his work permit.

The CBF runs the Craig Bellamy football academy located in Tombo in the outskirts of Freetown

“Mustapha has an exciting talent, and his training with the AGF A-squad revealed that he possess some offensive skills, which can be interesting for us,” said AGF Sports Chief Jens Andersson.

“He is still young, but we believe that he’s in our framework and can take the next step in its development.

“That is why we have secured one-year agreement with him with an option to extend it.”

Bundu who can be used both as a winger and a striker was taken to England in 2010 by CBF.

He was playing for non-league side Hereford and at the same studying at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire.

He played in the iconic Wembley stadium in London in an FA Vase cup final loss to Morpeth Town at the end of last season before he was released by Hereford as he was not allowed to play higher than step five of the non-league pyramid due to work permit issues.
