Sierra Leonean defender David Simbo has played his first pre-season game for Belarusian club Krumkachy, few days after joining the newly promoted team to the top flight league.

The 26-year old came in the last 30 minutes of the match as Krumkachy defeated lower division team Zvezda BGU 2-1 on Saturday.

Simbo signed a one year deal with Krumkachy as free agent after he left Saudi Arabian top tier league club Najran SC for personal reasons.

He few months ago told Sierra Leone Football.com that it was difficult for him to adapt to live in Saudi Arabia among other things.

Simbo is the second Sierra Leonean player now playing in Belarus after Leone Stars skipper Umaru ‘Zingalay’ Bangura who plays for Dinamo Minsk.

The Belarusian top tier league starts onĀ  April 1.

The former Mighty Blackpool player had previously played in Norway and Sweden before moving to Sudan where he won the country’s highest ranked league with Al-Hilal.

Another Sierra Leonean international who recently transfered to a new club is midfielder John Kamma.

He now plays for Latvia top flight league club Riga FC.
