Sierra Leonean international Ibrahim Teteh Bangura will not join Dalkurd FF as he’s not the kind of striker the Swedish second tier league club are looking for.

The 26-year old who has returned to Freetown was undergoing trials with Dalkurd few weeks ago and was hoping to sign a contract.

Bangura’s local agent Chernor Musa Jalloh said: “The club like Teteh as a player but he’s not the kind of striker they are looking for.”

“He did well in the trials but Dalkurd are looking for a striker who can run and also defend when they loose the ball.

Teteh is more or less a box striker who is limited outside the box and can score goals.”

But all is not lost for Bangura as Jalloh has claimed that they’re talking to some overseas clubs who are Interested in the former AIK Stockholm marksman.

Bangura has been struggling to find a club since he recovered from a cruciate Ligament injury which kept him on the sidelines for lengthy periods.

He only managed to secure a short term deal with Swedish second tier league side Mjallby late last season scoring two goals in six appearances.
